Intro to Ceramics | with El

Fall A | September 12-October 24 (7 classes)
Fall B | October 31-December 19 (7 classes, no class 11/28)
In this introductory course, students will learn the fundamentals to create ceramic artwork. Use clay to build, mold and sculpt three-dimensional works using coil building, slab building, and other hand-building techniques. All experience levels welcome; beginners and up.
Firing costs, essential tools, and glazes included.
Clay available for purchase separately in studio.
*Some classes may require additional materials. If applicable a supply list or kit available for purchase will be provided first day of class.

Cancellation Policy
All of TMA's studio courses require a minimum enrollment to run. If a class does not meet a minimum enrolment 3 days before the first day of class it will be canceled and a full refund issued to any enrolled students.
For students that need to cancel their enrollment:
14 days + before the first day of your class—100% refund
8–13 days before the first day of your class—50% refund
7 days or less—no refund
All refunds will be charged a $15 administrative fee.
This workshop series takes place at the Tampa Museum of Art's newly expanded Vinik Family Education Center, 120 W. Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa, FL 33602.
