Remix is a series of make-and-take art workshops for adults inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions with a new project every month. Workshops are designed to be enjoyed by participants of any skill level and all materials are provided.
Ages 16 and up.

June: Remix - Fleurish like KACE
Create sequined abstract paintings inspired by the Fleurish: The Art of Naeem Khan exhibition.
July: Ai Weiwei Style Mosaics
Translate a photograph into a stunning LEGO mosaic in the style of Ai Weiwei’s Dropping A Han Dynasty Urn (LEGO) artwork on view in the Time For Change exhibition.
August: Jennifer Steinkamp Digital Drawing
Be inspired by Jennifer Steinkamp’s immersive digital installation, Madame Curie, and learn to draw on a digital tablet.
September: Assemble like Pepe Mar
Create a mixed media assemblage inspired by the vibrant work of Pepe Mar.
October: Impressionism
Learn from the Impressionist painters and create your own inspired study of light, and color.
November: Haitian Vodou Inspired Flags
Take inspiration from the symbolic and storied work of Haitian drapo vodou artists while making your own flag full of personal symbolism.
