Registration for Not-Yet-Members begins on March 5. To purchase your camp, select the camp you would like from the drop down menu, then select the day of the first day of the corresponding camp, then the quantity of spaces for that camp, and add it to your cart. You can add as many camps as you would like, one at a time.

AM Camp: Painting: Introduction to Abstraction

After seeing the epic abstract paintings of Paul Jenkins in the Museum galleries, unleash your creativity with a variety of materials and unconventional approaches to painting.

PM Camp: Art Books

Make your own paper and a variety of books that you can use as journals, sketchbooks, and interactive works of art.

June 27-July 1

AM Camp: Digital Photography

Learn how to use DSLR cameras and professional photo editing software to create and print digital photography.

PM Camp: Fiber Arts: Embroidery & Applique

Learn embroidery and sewing techniques, and explore different methods of making art with fabric, yarn, and thread.

July 25-29

AM Camp: Painting: People & Places

Make paintings based on places depicted in works of art at the Museum, the downtown city scape, and your own imagined places.

PM Camp: Ceramics

After an up-close look at sculptures from ancient Mediterranean worlds, learn about the things you can make out of clay, including decorated plates, vases, cups, and figurines.

August 1-5

AM Camp: Comics & Characters

Our antiquities galleries are filled with sculptures and paintings of legendary journeys, battles, contests, gods, goddesses, heroes, and athletes. Create characters and make a comic book about their adventures.

PM Camp: Digital Art

Learn digital painting software to create and print digital artworks inspired by sketches you’ll make, photos you’ll take, and works of art you’ll see at the Museum.



Wait-lists are established on a first-received basis when a camp sells out. If space does become available, parents will be notified via email.
