Registration for Not-Yet-Members begins on March 5.To purchase your camp, select the camp you would like from the drop down menu, then select the day of the first day of the corresponding camp, then the quantity of spaces for that camp, and add it to your cart. You can add as many camps as you would like, one at a time.

Explore the ancient world in our antiquities collection and make sculpture and ceramic projects inspired by works of art from Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

PM Camp: Ancient Paintings

Explore the ancient world in our antiquities collection and make painting and drawing projects inspired by works of art from Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

June 13-17

AM Camp: Digital Art

Learn digital painting software to create and print digital artworks inspired by sketches you’ll make, photos you’ll take, and works of art you’ll see at the Museum.

PM Camp: Ceramics

After an up-close look at sculptures from ancient Mediterranean worlds, learn about the things you can make out of clay, including decorated plates, vases, cups, and figurines.

June 20-24

AM Camp: Painting: Animals, People. and Abstract

Make painting projects inspired by all of the paintings you’ll see at the Museum, including ancient creatures in the antiquities collection, huge abstract paintings from Paul Jenkins, and paintings from Verde, an exhibition of local artists.

PM Camp: Ceramics: Pottery and Figurines

Develop your sculpting skills and have fun experimenting with different ways you can use clay to make pottery and sculpted figures.

July 11-15

AM Camp: Ceramics: Vases & Faces

Develop your sculpting skills and have fun experimenting with ceramic vases, faces, and anything else you can imagine.

PM Camp: Printmaking

Explore several different printmaking processes to make multiples of your art on paper, totes, t-shirts, and cards.

July 18-22

AM Camp: Comics & Characters

Our antiquities galleries are filled with sculptures and paintings of legendary journeys, battles, contests, gods, goddesses, heroes, and athletes. Get inspired by the antiquities collection to create characters and make a comic book about their adventures.

PM Camp: Digital Art

Learn digital painting software to create and print digital artworks inspired by sketches you’ll make, photos you’ll take, and the works of art you’ll see at the Museum.

July 25-29

AM Camp: Heroes & Villains

Get inspired by the visual storytelling and epic tales in the antiquities collection to make works of art based on original characters you create.

PM Camp: Costumes & Contraptions 

Make creative costumes, masks, accessories, and gadgets based on your favorite characters or ones that you make up.

 

Waitlist

Wait-lists are established on a first-received basis when a camp sells out. If space does become available, parents will be notified via email. Space will be held for two business days before being offered to the next camper on the list. To be added to the wait-list, fill out a Summer Art Camp wait-list form, which can by found here.
