Create gallery-based program activities using the Tampa Museum of Art's dynamic exhibitions. This session focuses on the range of activities in the gallery space that can meet diverse students' learning needs. Through interactive and engaging activities and discussions, you will learn how to enable students to use their senses and critical thinking skills. 

This session is a two-hour presentation and workshop followed by an hour of networking with opportunity for resume review.

*Feel free to bring a packed lunch. Coffee and tea provided. 

This class is taught by Museum Staff: Danette Albino
Danette Albino is the Manager for K12 Learning and Access at the Tampa Museum of Art. She oversees the K-12 tour programming, trains docents in effective techniques for engaging diverse learners, and ensures that programs are welcoming and accessible to all. Prior to TMA, Danette has had various experiences in the school setting and museum setting. She holds a Master of Art’s in Art Education from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from the University of West Florida with a minor in Exceptional Student Education.  Learn more about our teaching artists through our "Get Inspired" interview collection
